I should probably get out of the habit of blogging just once every fifty years. Haha! I try.
So anyway, amidst all the school work, a wedding, a comic convention (sadly not to be confused with the San Diego Comicon that we had to say no to*), a road trip/vacation, a two-week summer vacation, a disappointing B+, and this video that was the complete opposite of disappointing, I think I’ve been pretty good. Nevertheless, it’s life, so there were definitely some downs to the ups the past three months, but overall, life’s been on the good side. And as you’d know, if you at all knew what this blog’s purpose was, there may or may not have been some Polaroids taken during these little adventures and non-adventures. This post, however, will not be featuring any of them, so enjoy looking at this pretty photo I posted on my Instagram account today.
Yes. So life update. My aunt (well, my dad’s aunt that I call Auntie) recently got married in April in an old winery in Sacramento, and as some people might know, there isn’t any other grape-related consumable that I love more than wine. (Thank you, Stepmom, because if I ever became an alcoholic and wreck my liver, at least I’ll be a classy alcoholic with very little to no risk of heart disease. I owe you one.) Naturally, there were lots of Polaroids from this particular weekend due to the beautiful venue and the lovely people. (:
On the less elegant end of the spectrum, there’s that little trip to Reno that my boyfriend and I had about three weeks ago. No idea why we chose Reno, but despite there only being a handful of exciting things to do and see there, we had a pretty good time 90% of the time we were out and about, and 95% of the time we were bumming in the hotel, which included the on-site casino. What’s better than turning $4 into $22?? (A lot of things actually, but maybe try not to kill my still ongoing excitement about my first casino experience.)
There was also Big Wow, a smaller-than-comicon convention held at San Jose, where we met TOM FELTON. Yup. That happened. Also met Jake Lloyd and took a Polaroid with him that he signed, but that might not be half as exciting for most of you.
Aaaaand, Josh Sundquist briefly mentioned me in one of his videos!
And finally, back to school. I’m taking an art class and an online astronomy class.
More details on the exciting stuff soon. 😀
* We were able to score Comicon tickets, but sadly, besides getting up early to try and get badges, we hadn’t planned anything else out (i.e. flights, hotels… money…) so we had to cancel our registration, as sad as that sounds. Next year tho!
